The Local Organising Committee 2023 – Trinity Business School – cordially invites you to LABS. LABS are open to the public (i.e., no registration required) and scheduled on 13 June at Trinity Business School as a pre-conference event of EURAM 2023.

LABS are a series of workshop-type sessions wherein, by subject matter experts, the frontier of a research field is critically examined, and novel ways to advance the field of knowledge are put forward. The primary purpose of LABS is to contribute to the advancement of the European management scholarship.

This year’s theme is transforming business for good. As professor Andrew Burke, Dean of Trinity Business School puts it, “because it is the right thing to do – especially as there really is no Planet B – but also because it is the new frontier of competition. Businesses that are unable to deliver ethical, humane, and sustainable goods and services simply won’t survive”.

This year, LABS directly address the challenge. We encourage the mutual fertilisation of ideas on alternative forms to organise businesses, jobs, and people, contemplating their potential impact on society and beyond. As part of the LABS, there will also be a free case teaching seminar by the courtesy of the Case Center entitled “Revitalising classes when teaching with case studies in person and online”.

We look forward to welcoming you all to LABS, EURAM 2023.

Cordially yours,

Dr. Jongwook Pak, Chair of LABS and SIG14 (Transforming Business for Good)
