There are several ways to get to Kristiansand
By air:
Further, Kristiansand has an AIRPORT (Kristiansand lufthavn, Kjevik) with flights usually going over Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Bergen or Oslo.
You can also consider flying to Oslo, Stavanger, or Sandefjord and taking public transportation (bus or train) to Kristiansand . The bus and/ or train from Oslo to Kristiansand takes roughly 4.5 hours.
Warning
A common mistake is confusing Kristiansand (south, KRS) with Kristiansund (north, KSU). They are different Norwegian cities, separated by hundreds of kilometres.
Confusing the two can result in booking a flight to the opposite end of the country.
