EURAM 2026
We hope you will join us from Tuesday 16 to Friday 19 June 2026 at the School of Business and Law of the University of Agder, Kristiansand (Norway).
The EURAM conference theme is “Navigating High Waters”:
The more recent debate among management scholars has emphasised euphonic topics such as social inclusion, new work, or the democratizations markets. While these are important topics not only in the academic debate but also in practice, many firms currently face more exigent challenges.
The current global challenges are manifold, characterized by complex interdependencies, paradoxical demands, and hard to predict disruptive changes. Geopolitical threats, rapid technological developments, demographic changes, and excessive regulation require a strategic focus on adaptability for navigating in an unpredictable world.
In the age of disruption, management requires agility, innovation, and resilience. This applies to all activities, functions and areas of organizations:
– Strategic disruption includes massive changes in the (geo-)political environment, market structures, technologies, and business models.
– Marketing disruption refers to fundamental changes in the industry status quo, the way customers and firms interact, product and service features are presented, and communication channels.
– Supply chain disruption can lead to unpredictable changes preventing the free flow of products and services.
– Disruption in human resources can be the result of disruptive changes in technology and society.
Disruptive changes not only are fundamental, the often affect the entire organisation and require a holistic approach of management to deal with the challenges.
The conference theme is relevant for all research examining various aspects that enable management to navigate the high waters of disruptive changes. This includes organizational resilience, the management of paradoxes, agility, risk management, and innovative business models.
We welcome scholars to submit their research to the EURAM 2026 Conference and we look forward to seeing you in Agder.

For newcomers to our community: our 13 SIGs are the building blocks of EURAM. SIG Chairs and Officers nurture communities of scholars who are engaged in specific research areas. There are three types of Tracks. General Tracks are the overarching tracks of the SIGs. Standing tracks are ongoing conversations that you can join, and which will continue within a SIG for a number of years. Finally, every year there are Tracks that are selected in a competitive submission and review process (they may become standing tracks in the future if they prove to be of continued interest). Each SIG General Track invites contributions from all areas related to the SIG specific research area but which are not explicitly covered by other tracks within the SIG.
