Everyone can use the ‘Wi-Fi Guest’ network. To connect first register to use ‘Wi-Fi Guest’. You do not need a University email address to connect. ‘Wi-Fi Guest’ is provided by The Cloud. If you already have an account with The Cloud you can use this to log in.
– Open the Wi-Fi settings on your device
– Select ‘WiFi Guest’
– Once connected, open your web browser and refresh the page. Your browser may open automatically
– Select your authentication method to continue, there are various options available, including social media
- Eduroam
Eduroam is a free, global Wi-Fi service for students and university staff. You can also use it at many other universities around the world. If you are visiting from another university which uses Eduroam, you can connect to the service here using your own university login details.

- Luggage Storage and Registration Desk.
If you need to store your luggage at any point during the conference you can drop it off at the School of Management Reception (located just before you descend the stairs to the Registration desk in 10 East). As you leave your luggage at the registration desk for safekeeping, don’t forget to enquire with the registration team about luggage claim tickets.

- Catering during #EURAM 2024
For the morning and afternoon tea and coffee breaks:
– Management Building (also called 10 East (SOM building)). There will be four main refreshment points set up in the Pavilion area.
– Claverton room. Multiple service points.
– East Building Foyer.
– The Edge Café area.
– Chancellor’s Building Foyers Levels 1 and 2
– Founders as an additional point on top of the others following the keynotes on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Lunch (hot and cold savoury food) on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will be served in three main locations:
– Fountain Canteen – (please use this location if you have sessions in 10 East and 8 West)
– Lime Tree (please use this location if you have sessions in The Edge and East Building)
– Claverton rooms (please use this location if you have sessions in 8 West and Chancellors Building).
Lunch time dessert and coffee will all be served in the Pavilion of 10 East.
Please bring your own water bottle to refill during the conference. We are trying to limit waste and will encourage you to help by limiting the number of glasses and paper cups which need to be used during the Conference. There are multiple water stations around campus and in all the main buildings where you will be able to get water.
- Sustainability at EURAM 2024
Eating and drinking on campus
The University campus has many restaurants, cafés and bars, to cater to every taste. There is a range of vegetarian and vegan options and food always fits into the sustainability framework of the University of Bath.
The University of Bath always ensure:
– Seasonal food focus
– Sustainably sourced fish
– Reducing food waste
– Minimising packaging
– Reducing meat consumption (particularly ruminant meat)
Food is provided throughout the conference but if you do want to find your own food during the event then the following should be open:
- 4 West Café – located on the West side of campus
- Sports Café – in the Sports Training Village
- Various outlets within the Students Union, including café’s and a shop
- A well stocked Shop called Fresh, on the West Side of Campus.
Please note that cash is not accepted in any of the catering outlets or shops on campus. Most major debit or credit cards are accepted (not Amex).
- Waste and Recycling on Campus
There are a range of bins in all buildings across campus, they are labelled, and colour coded as follows. Please use this as necessary to keep our campus clean and tidy:
– Red – cans and plastic bottles
– Light blue (narrow lid) – paper
– Black – general waste
– Turquoise – mixed glass
– Orange – crisp packets
– Light blue (wide lid) – cardboard
- Welfare/Respite rooms
We have several respite and welfare rooms available across campus which range from quiet private spaces, to reserved bedrooms in our accommodation block. Two of these rooms also have fridges available. We are making these rooms available to anyone who may require them. If you need access to one of these spaces please either speak to a LOC members or volunteer (they should be easy to spot from their badges) or contact the School of Management Reception either in person at the entrance to 10 East or by phoning +44(0)1225 386742.
