><p>To ensure that it is possible to publish your paper in the proceedings, it is essential that all authors strictly<strong> follow the guidelines and formatting instructions<\/strong> for both preparation and submission of all papers.<\/p>\n<p>For EURAM 2027, the abstracts and full papers will be published in e-format, and the latter will be accessible to registered delegates only through the conference app and the online programme. Neither the full papers nor their abstracts are published in the programme book, which will carry the <strong>ISSN 2466-7498 and ISBN 978-2-9602195-9-3.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each paper will be screened to ensure compliance with EURAM\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/conferences.euram.academy\/2027conference\/authors-guidelines-for-full-papers\/\"><strong>author guidelines<\/strong><\/a>. Authors will not have the opportunity to submit an updated version compliant with the guidelines; papers that do not meet EURAM requirements will eventually be desk-rejected. More details about the <strong>AI-assisted paper screening are available <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/conferences.euram.academy\/2027conference\/call-for-papers\/\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please read the instructions below carefully before submitting and remember to select at least one of the Sustainable Development Goals your research addresses (UN SDGs):<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Each paper can only be <strong>submitted to ONE track<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Submitted papers must <strong>not have been previously presented<\/strong> at a EURAM annual Conference (unless there are significant changes from the original presented proposal).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Submitted papers<\/strong> must NOT <strong>have been published or accepted for publication before the EURAM annual Conference <\/strong>(neither in print nor online, in any form \u2013 online preprint, working paper, etc.)<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>To facilitate the blind review process, <strong>remove ALL authors&#8217; identifying information (names, affiliations,<\/strong> etc.), including acknowledgements from the text, and document\/file properties (any submissions with author information will be automatically DELETED; author information and acknowledgements are to be included in the submission form).<\/li>\n<li>The abstract should <strong>not exceed 400 words<\/strong> and should be included both in the PDF and the submission form.<\/li>\n<li><strong> Include 3 keywords<\/strong> in the submission form. A maximum of 6 keywords is allowed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The entire paper (title page, abstract, main text, figures, tables, references, etc.) must be in ONE anonymised document <\/strong>created<strong> in PDF format.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The <strong>maximum length of the paper is 40 pages<\/strong> (including ALL tables, appendices and references). The <strong>minimum length of the paper is 10 pages<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Use <strong>Times New Roman 12-point font, double-spaced<\/strong>, and 1-inch (2.5 cm) margins all around.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Number all the pages<\/strong> of the paper.<\/li>\n<li>No changes to the paper title, abstract, authorship, track, or the actual paper can occur AFTER the submission deadline.<\/li>\n<li>Check that the PDF File of your paper prints correctly and ensure that the file is virus-free. Submissions will be done online on the EURAM \u00a02027 submission system (platform opens in late November 2026).<\/li>\n<li>Only submissions<strong> in English<\/strong> shall be accepted for review.<\/li>\n<li>In case of acceptance, the author or one of the co-authors should be <strong>available to present the paper at the conference<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A presenting author can only present one paper at the conference.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>* ONE PRESENTING AUTHOR = ONE PAPER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Each individual is limited to one personal appearance on the programme as a presenting author. This policy precludes acceptance of papers for more than one presentation. In other words, an author can submit and present only one paper.<\/strong> However, a presenter can always be a non-presenting co-author on additional papers.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"15\">\n<li><strong>If you submit a paper, you agree to review at least two papers for EURAM 2027 in the track you have submitted your paper to.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>The peer review process depends on mutual involvement, with authors and reviewers collaborating to maintain the quality and integrity of our field. Participating in the review process is both a professional obligation and a chance to support the EURAM community while earning recognition for contributing to the process.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;font-size: 16px\"><strong>Statement about the use of generative Artificial Intelligence (<a href=\"#AI\">AI<\/a>)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>EURAM does not prohibit, in principle, the use of generative AI to support research activities. The <strong>use of AI<\/strong> to generate ideas and \/or research questions, to analyse data, to support writing or for any other purposes in a submission to EURAM <strong>should be transparently disclosed<\/strong> in the manuscript, preferably in the literature review and\/or methods sections (it has to be visible for the reader and reviewers).<\/p>\n<p>Authors using AI in any step of their research process are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of AI-generated materials. AI tools cannot be listed as an author of a paper. AI tools used should be listed in the bibliography indicating: Author of the AI programme, year of the programme version used (in brackets), Name of AI (in italics), Version, if applicable (in brackets), Publisher, if different from the author, URL, if applicable. Please refer to the example below:<\/p>\n<p>OpenAI (2024) ChatGPT 4o (version September 2024), <a href=\"https:\/\/chat.openai.com\"><strong>https:\/\/chat.openai.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Upon submission of the paper on EURAM\u2019s platform, the corresponding author will have to<strong> fill in a self-declaration statement form<\/strong> to document whether AI tools have been used or not.
