You will facilitate the development of research and of papers that matter.<br \/>\nIf you chair a standing track, please also refer to the topic chairs\u2019 responsibilities that signal the start of our common mission and complete the\u00a0<em>topic proposal template<\/em>\u00a0so that we can present your track on the Website.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; PROPOSAL<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Propose a topic to be considered for the conference programme by\u00a0<strong>clicking on topic and by filling out<\/strong>\u00a0the\u00a0<strong><em>topic proposal form<\/em><\/strong> which\u00a0is\u00a0available <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/eiasm\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=kZDppZT\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div  class='avia-button-wrap av-91pmm-72ab176c1348371e53aa2d2325a86280-wrap avia-button-left  avia-builder-el-5  avia-builder-el-no-sibling '><a href='https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/eiasm\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=kZDppZT'  class='avia-button av-91pmm-72ab176c1348371e53aa2d2325a86280 av-link-btn avia-icon_select-yes-left-icon avia-size-small avia-position-left avia-color-theme-color'  target=\"_blank\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"  aria-label=\"Topic proposal form\"><span class='avia_button_icon avia_button_icon_left avia-iconfont avia-font-entypo-fontello' data-av_icon='\ue832' data-av_iconfont='entypo-fontello' ><\/span><span class='avia_iconbox_title' >Topic proposal form<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<p><em>Prior to submitting your proposal, please ensure that you\u00a0<strong>run a spell check<\/strong>\u00a0on all the texts you are submitting.\u00a0In case of acceptance, parts of your proposal will be published on the EURAM website and proceedings.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Please use the <a href=\"https:\/\/conferences.euram.academy\/2023conference\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2022\/03\/2022_03_24-TOPIC-PROPOSAL-Checklist-2023.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fields checklist<\/a>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><em>to prepare your proposal before online submission.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This proposal should include<\/p>\n<p>(1) Part 1 Topic:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Indicate Title (the name of the proposed Topic.\u00a0&#8211; 100 Characters without spaces max.);<\/li>\n<li>Indicate to which SIG you are submitting your Topic proposal\u00a0<em>(You can either submit a proposal to one specific SIG or to the General Conference Track);<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Tick the Declaration of Commitment (by sending this proposal to the EURAM 2023 Conference Programme Committee, the proponent&#8217;s team commits to respect the deadlines and conditions in performing the tasks required by the Conference Programme Committee.)<\/li>\n<li>Describe previous experience of the proponents\u2019 team with this topic in major scholarly conferences \u2013max. 200 words;<\/li>\n<li>Describe the objectives of the Topic, the characteristics and methodology of the proposed sessions, and justify its relevance. Short description max. 100 words as well as long description of max. 400 words;<\/li>\n<li>Provide a short bio of each proponent \u2013max. 100 words<\/li>\n<li>Indicate at least 3 references related to the Topic being proposed &#8211; max. 100 words;<\/li>\n<li>Indicate at least 3 keywords;<\/li>\n<li>Indicate the main networks: associations, journals, research centres, research teams, social media, etc. you intend to mobilise to promote the Conference and the Topic you are proposing;<\/li>\n<li>Indicate the journals or book publishers with which you could negotiate a special issue, or a book focused on your topic&#8217;s best papers;<\/li>\n<li>Indicate the Sustainable Development Goals your topic addresses (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/sustainabledevelopment\/sustainable-development-goals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">UN SDGs<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>(2) Part 2 &#8211; Proponents<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>List the proponents (we recommend teams of two or three scholars from different countries); You can add an\u00a0<em>existing contact profile<\/em>\u00a0as co-proponent or add a\u00a0<em>new contact profile<\/em>\u00a0as co-proponent (in case the proponent is not registered in the system).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Note: The Topic Proposal Form can be saved and completed later.<\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; PROMOTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If your proposal is accepted, actively promote your topic through your own networks on behalf of the EURAM conference, highlighting the opportunity to submit research papers for the topic you are proposing. You are expected to issue your own call for papers that must be coordinated in terms of styling and content with the SIG to which your topic is attached.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; COMMITMENT TO ASSUME FURTHER RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When your proposed topic achieves a significant number of submissions (at least 20 papers), topic proponents commit to accept the responsibility of becoming Track Chairs and to responsibly develop such a role. Thank you for taking the time to communicate with the SIG chair and the Conference Programme Committee when your topic is selected and for respecting all the deadlines.
