at Bocconi University, Editor-in-Chief of <em>European Management Review<\/em>, Honorary Member of EGOS and EURAM Fellow, and winner of the Edith Penrose Award for Trail-blazing Researchers 2022. She has been co-editor of <em>Organization Studies <\/em>and editor-in-chief of the <em>Journal of Management and Governance<\/em>. Her approach integrates elements of organizational, economic, and behavioral sciences, and is oriented to improve decision-making, organization design and\u00a0firm governance. He serves as co-director of the \u2018Intellectual Property\u2019 task force at the <em>Initiative for Policy Dialogue<\/em> at Columbia University and is also continental Europe editor of the journal <em>Industrial and Corporate Change. <\/em>He is included in the ISI Highly Cited Research list, denoting those who made fundamental contributions to the advancement of science and technology, and is a corresponding member of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, the first academy of sciences in Italy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 2016 he received the Wiley TIM Distinguished Scholar Award by the Technology and Innovation Management Division of the American Academy of Management.\u00a0In 2022 he was awarded the Penrose Award by EURAM (European Academy of Management) for his research on evolutionary economics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">His major research areas &#8211; where he is author and editor of several works &#8211; include Economics of Innovation and Technological Change, Industrial Economics, Evolutionary Theory, Economic Growth and Development, Organizational Studies. \u00a0He has been involved in several international research projects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A selection of his works has been published in two volumes: <em>Innovation, Organization and Economic Dynamics.
