It represents the new trends in managing technologies and their connection to people. It impacts the value co-creation of services since it underpins the sociotechnical system integration (people, process, and technology). In this LAB, we propose an overview of the state-of-the-art, focusing on grasping the current knowledge condition and predicting the new directions for academics and practitioners. We aim to delineate the conceptualisation of lean 5.0 applied to services and provide recommendations for future works to advance knowledge in the field. In this LAB, we expect to discuss Lean 5.0 and service value co-creation guidelines and trends, grounding its concept, elements, practice, and application avenues. As a result, we expect to inspire and foster new research to advance knowledge background and pave the way for successful implementation cases of Lean Service 5.0. He is a Doctor in Production Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) (2017), Post-Doc at Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo (USP) (2022). Bonamigo is a Master in Business Administration (2014) with a Master Sandwich at IPS &#8211; Polytechnic Institute of Set\u00fabal &#8211; Portugal (2014). She is a Doctoral Researcher in Mechanical Engineering with seven years of experience in Lean Product Development and Set-Based Design for designing highly innovative products (UFSC\/Apr 2023). She has 14 years of experience in Lean development in organisations and is a Lean Leader in GE Grid Solutions. She is a co-advisor in the Study and Research Group in Service Engineering (GEPES) of the Federal University Fluminense (UFF), managing and guiding research in Lean Service Development.
